Rev Dr. Kirt Anderson
Founding Pastor
Kirt brings over forty years of ministry experience to the leadership team at NCC. Of his ministry he says, “My faith is passionate and real. Since I was a kid in Young Life I’ve been alert to opportunities to share the good news with others. It was and is a simple sense of fullness of life in Jesus Christ. Therefore my theology is Christ-centered, biblical, and relational. God meets us in ordinary circumstances and actual experience. Our faith is about trusting God in and through it all. The church should be a place where authentic fellowship will eclipse the need to posture and pretend, where open inquiry ferments our personal growth, and where the presence of God is known. We strive to embrace those whom God loves, for the Spirit of Christ has drawn us all that we might grow into a love for Him who first loved us.” Kirt played varsity basketball at UCSB, went on to Princeton Seminary, earned his doctorate from Fuller Seminary, and is ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church. He is the disgustingly proud father of three launched and married children, and grandfather of only eight less-than-perfect grand kids: Everly (spoiling Erin and Doug), Owen, Ellery, Emmeline, and Reid (on probation with Bryant and Kristen) and, Christopher, David and Luke (utter chaos for Amy and James).
Daniel K. Edmondson
Associate Pastor
Dan Edmondson has been a pastor for over 35 years. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he grew up under the ministry of Dr. Charles Swindoll and Pastor Chuck Smith. Dan was ordained in the Evangelical Free Church of America in 1996. He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies, a Masters in Biblical Studies and a Master in Clinical Mental Health. Dan and his wife Janet have been married for 40 years. They have three children and four grandchildren. Dan’s passion is helping raise up leadership within the local church, preaching and teaching.
Billy Dean & Dawn Birch
Worship Leaders
“Billy Dean and Dawn” are a husband and wife musical duo that perform a variety of styles for dinner dances, private parties, and concerts at the various Country Clubs in SWFL.
Billy is originally from Wayzata, MN and Dawn is from Pittsburgh, PA. They married in 1993, and travelled for many years performing at hotel resort lounges, Las Vegas casinos, and cruise ships, before settling down in Estero, FL.
Dawn was raised in The Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, and Billy in the Lutheran tradition. It wasn’t until they committed as a couple to spend time daily reading & studying the entire Bible together however, that God really blessed their marriage and strengthened their faith.
They voluntarily lead worship for 17 years at Park Alliance and Legacy churches in the Ft Myers/Estero area, before becoming part of the staff at Naples Community Church in 2018. Their greatest hope is for everyone they know to enjoy an ever growing relationship with God through His Son Jesus.

Dustin Herl

Dustin Herl grew up in a small rural town in Michigan and moved to Florida in early 2019. Although saved at an early age, Dustin didn’t really commit himself to Christ until his late teenage years, which led him to take some Bible College classes. He’s always been passionate about film, media, and technology, engaging in a wide array of projects—ranging from crafting short films and creating websites to filming events and capturing weddings through videography. Dustin resides in Fort Myers with his wife and 4 kids, and he enjoys being able to serve the church through administration and through digital media.
